This class is being conducted by the local agency listed in the signup details section below, please refer any questions to that agency. The Louisiana Fire and Emergency Training Academy staff is not teaching this Course.  

The certification fees will be billed upon enrollment into this class.  

Only students who successfully complete this program will be eligible for certification testing.  

DESCRIPTION OF TRAINING

Designed for fire officers and intended to prepare the fire officer to be able to function at the executive management level, this course adheres to NFPA 1021: Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications. This course will focus on multi-agency emergency response management, personnel/resource management, budgetary planning/purchasing, and risk/hazard analysis and management of the fire service. During the course, the student will be required to participate in a group to complete interactive projects. These projects will be graded and must be completed by the end of the course.
