This class is being conducted by the local agency listed in the signup details section below, please refer any questions to that agency. The Louisiana Fire and Emergency Training Academy staff is not teaching this Course.  

The certification fees will be billed upon enrollment into this class.  

Only students who successfully complete this program will be eligible for certification testing.  

DESCRIPTION OF TRAINING

Fire Service Instructor I will demonstrate the knowledge and ability to deliver instruction effectively from a prepared lesson plan, including instructional aids and evaluation instruments; adapt lesson plans to the unique requirements of the students and authority having jurisdiction; organize the learning environment so that learning is maximized; and meet the record-keeping requirements of authority having jurisdiction.
