Full Description: This course will provide Louisiana fire service personnel with an overview of the National Emergency Response Information System (NERIS), focusing on accurate incident reporting, proper incident classification and coding, and effective use of the system's current capabilities. NERIS representatives will discuss common reporting questions, provide guidance on selecting appropriate incident information, and share best practices for improving the accuracy and consistency of fire service data.

The session will include an interactive Q&A, allowing participants to address reporting challenges, gain clarification on system functions, and better understand how to utilize NERIS within their departments.
