This class is being conducted by the local agency listed in the signup details section below, please refer any questions to that agency. The Louisiana Fire and Emergency Training Academy staff is not teaching this Course.

The certification fees will be billed upon enrollment into this class.

Only students who successfully complete this program will be eligible for certification testing.

DESCRIPTION OF TRAINING

The Apparatus Driver Operator - Pumper is a person that can safely operate an apparatus equipped with a permanently mounted with a pump and all systems associated with the apparatus and pump, safely operate the apparatus over streets and highways, establish a water supply from an internal, external static or pressurized water source, operate pump to supply various size attack handlines or master streams, set-up and support operations using foam and built-in fire protection systems using a standpipe and operate pump during a relay pumping operation. This program is being taught by a local agency, not LAFETA. Certification exam may or may not be offered at course completion.
